1760-65 Uniform of Captain Thomas Plumbe of the Royal Lancashire Militia.

The 1760-65 uniform of the 1st Royal Lancashire Militia as worn by Captain Thomas Plumbe.  The oldest, most complete, British army uniform in the world, similar to the pattern worn at the Battle of Culloden in 1746 and in the Wars of American Independence.
