This site plan was included the in the album which was presented to the King and Queen in May 1917 to record their visit to the works.

Top left of plan, showing reservoir, power and boiler house, cooling tower, locomotive sheds, engineers shop, railway sidings, and then production facilities.  The green marks show the route of the royal visitors travelling in a motor car and the red line shows the route taken on foot.  It is clear that they inspected the discharge, incorporating and stemming facilities for No. 3 9.2 inch shells, before moving on to the transit shed.
