Remembrance - Images from the Western Front

An exhibition of photographs of the cemeteries of the Western Front in France and Belgium by David Shackleton.

On display in the King's Own Royal Regiment Museum from 1st November 2010 to Summer 2011.

Cemeteries of All Nations

Adinkerke Military Cemetery, Belgium.

Chestres French National Cemetery, which includes Czech, Russian, French, Belgian, German and British burials.

Wickres German Cemetery, near Fromelles, France.

Ligny-en-Cambresis A ceremonial plot probably made by the French villagers which includes the graves of ten British and thirty French soldiers.

Martinsart British Cemetery, Somme, France, where all the graves are made of red Corsehill or Locharbriggs sandstone, rather than the more usual Portland stone.
