Form of Notice to be sent to each Infantry Reservist who is eligible under the terms of Special Army Order of 23 Dec 1908, for transfer to the Royal Army Medical Corps.
Marked with ‘R Lancaster’ by stamp and the hand written name, ‘W Lewis’
identified by seller as Private William Lewis, number 6531, who later served with the 1st King’s Own, overseas 22 Oct 1914 and killed in action 23 Mar 1915.
