Identified as Private Charles Bailey, number 13891, of the 9th Battalion, King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.  This would suggest an enlistment date of 8th September 1914.  He appears on the 1914/15 Star medal roll as going overseas to France on 4th September 1915, but his name is then deleted from the roll.
