Soldiers of the Regiment

Sergeant George McMillan

Military Medal group to Sergeant George McMillan, number 25400, 6th Battalion, King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.

Sergeant George McMillan, of Dundee, was awarded the Military Medal for operations at Tuz on 29th April 1918. The following congratulatory message was received from the Brigade Commander: “Brigadier congratulates all ranks on their success today which results in capture of practically all hostile forces in the Tuz area. The attack was carried out with extreme gallantry and determination.”
 

 



Military Medal, 1914/15 Star, British War and Allied Victory Medal to Sergeant George McMillan MM, 6th Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.  (The Star is named to him with the King's Regiment as number 10097).
