The Regimental Museum - page four Whilst our primary focus is on the history of the King's Own Royal Regiment between 1680 and 1959 (1975 for the Territorial Battalion) we also have a small number of items which relate to the King's Own Royal Border Regiment (1959-2006) and the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment since 2006. With the support of many friends and supporters, some of whom are still serving with the Regiment, or other jobs within the Army, we are pleased to keep our displays bang up to date. Our latest redisplay brings our modern army figure right up to date with the latest multi-terrain pattern uniform and equipment. We are always looking out for more bits and pieces which brings the story of the British Army up to date. 2013 Afghanistan Display
