Soldiers of the Regiment

Corporal John Hirst Harper, 1st/5th Battalion, King's Own and Private James Palmer Harper, Black Watch

The items to Private James Palmer Harper of the Black Watch are including in the King's Own Museum as the request of the donor as the brothers lived in Lancaster and the material was always kept together.  Both men died in 1915 whilst serving on the Western Front, in France and Belgium.
