Soldiers of the Regiment

Sergeant William Atkinson Neill MM


Military Medal and Bar, 1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Allied Victory Medal to Sergeant William Atkinson Neill, number 15369, 8th Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.
Sergeant Neill went overseas to the Western Front on 27th September 1915.  The award of the Military Medal was published in the Supplement to the London Gazette dated 23rd February 1918; the Bar was published on 17th June 1919.  Sergeant Neill was transferred to Class Z Army Reserve on 30th March 1919.
