Mission to announce the Accession of King George V

Five Royal Missions: Lord Granard Heads One Announcing the Succession, London, 6 July 1910.

Five special missions will leave England shortly to announce to foreign courts the accession of King George V.  The envoys include Lord Rosebery, Lord Roberts, The Earl of Granard, and the Marquis of Northampton.  No mission will be sent to the United States or France.

The Earl of Granard’s Special Mission to Announce the death of His Majesty King Edward VII and the Accession of His Majesty King George V. 31 Jul 1910 to 23 Aug 1910 and 27 Aug to 8 Sep 1910.
