Colonels of the King's Own Royal Regiment

Brigadier General Henry Trelawny

7th Son of Sir Jno. Trelawny and brother of Charles. Lieutenant in Duke of York’s Regiment 10 January 1678. Captain in the 2nd Tangier Regiment on formation. Lieutenant Colonel Dec 1688. Colonel 1 January 1692. Brigadier General 1696. Retired 1701 and became Governor of Plymouth after his brother.
